This weekly blog series is my way of reflecting on each episode, highlighting standout moments, and sharing what made me laugh (or cringe). Think of it as a Mythical recap—from a fan's perspective. 🏆 Episode of the Week
My Pick: "The Weirdest Stuff You Can Get At T.J. Maxx" - As a certified Maxxinista myself, a shopping spree at T.J. Maxx sounds like a grand old time! Add in a golden monkey statue and it's GAME TIME. I will say I'm kind of disappointed at some of the picks from these crew members (looking at you Leonard, the man cave part 2 would've been great!), but overall it was a solid trip back to an uncommon format.

🔹 Monday – "International Domino's Taste Test" Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
🎶 Where in the world do these international domino's menu items come from 🎶 Love a good international taste test video, and to echo Rhett, it was refreshing to get an advantage here that is actually an advantage! Hoping to see more of that in the future on these.
🔹 Tuesday – "The Weirdest Stuff You Can Get At T.J. Maxx" Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Already said most of my thoughts above, but if I were to be given a $350 shopping spree at T.J. Maxx, I personally would just by a bunch of $5 fast fashion t-shirts.
🔹 Wednesday – "Crazy New Popcorn Flavors Taste Test" Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️
Woof. This one was a hard watch for me. I liked the premise and the execution was good, but MAN Etsy must've paid bank to have that much product placement. I mean, get that bag, but skipping through the ads is a lot easier when it's just a 5 minute Hello Fresh ad read.
🔹 Thursday – "Trying The Weirdest New Barbershop Trends" Rating: ⭐️
Sometimes you wake up at 6am Eastern and flip on the old GMM only to bail 2 minutes in and go straight to More. I didn't even do that for this one. I saw the thumbnail and just kept scrolling. I did go back and watch it in doing this and I just can't. I can't. I can't. I can't. If you liked it, great, I'm glad you had fun.
🔹 Friday – "Craziest Stadium Foods In America Taste Test" Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Okay we are SO back! Love this format and the characters are always fun. I was kind of disappointed that they are so bad at guessing sports teams, but it's par for the course at this point. I actually lol'd at the "bit cuts"... bit, and wish it was played out a little longer.
😂 Funniest Moment of the Week
Not necessarily the funniest, but shoutout to Rhett for hitting the bullseye in the international taste test only for it to not work out. Hate to see it, but love to laugh at it.
🏆 BEST MORE
As a Pokemon card-er myself, I gotta respect when they did a More about Pokemon cards. The constant mispronunciations hurt me inside, but again, love when Pokemon makes an appearance anywhere.
🧠 Final Thoughts
Overall, I'd say it was a decent week. I just came back from vacation so I had a backlog of things to watch while I was watching the lesser episodes from this week. What was your favorite episode this week? Let me know in the comments! Hopefully we have some more fun antics (and less ads) ahead!
